Malware ("bad software") and viruses
(...trojans, worms, etc.) are spreading faster than ever before.
Keeping on top of them can be difficult. Make sure you have a paid
subscription service (like BitDefender or McAfee), and use free tools
like the ones posted here to clean up after an infection.
IMPORTANT: Having more than one active anti-malware program will
cause your system to slow down or stop completely. The tools at
the right are free scanners - they do not protect, they look for bad
stuff that is already on your computer. |
