With the war raging in Ukraine, Americans are bracing for an uptick in Russia-sponsored cyber attacks. Are you prepared?

Keep yourself safe:
  1. Keep Windows or MacOS up to date
  2. Update your anti-malware software
  3. Remove “trial” software and outdated utilities
  4. Never respond or “click” through an email that seems “wrong”
    a. “Delivery” notifications for items you didn’t order
    b. Notifications of charges you didn’t authorize
    c. Friends who are “out of town” and need cash cards
    d. Appeals to change your e-mail password
    e. If it doesn’t seem right, DO NOT ANSWER IT

In addition, run a regular scan of your system with your security software of choice. I recommend Malwarebytes for those of you who are not protected, or want a second opinion.
